Absolut Elyx

The brand that raised our standard.

Absolut Elyx is a luxury spirit brand, and their events were an extension of that brand. In Los Angeles, they took a private house and made it into the brand itself, what Elyx would look like if it were a place you could walk into and experience everything that lifestyle stood for. Celebrity events, brand experiences, and award-season parties for the Grammys and Oscars. Over five years we provided the production and AV for all of them.

The house shaped the work. Every room had its own character, so we designed sound one room at a time. From the entrance to the DJ room to the peacock and piano room to the steps leading down to the pool, we adapted to whatever the night called for. We provided the AV equipment and handled the technical riders for every artist or DJ the brand booked, many of them well-known names. And on the busiest nights, when multiple artists performed, the music never stopped and the energy never dropped. When award season arrived, the space transformed. A tent rose over the pool and a deck was laid across the water, and we set up screens throughout, from inside the house down to the pool deck, so guests could watch the shows live without leaving the party.

What set Elyx apart was taste. We had done events all over the city, but theirs were the most tasteful and best-coordinated rooms we had ever worked in. Every detail was accounted for, and that standard changed how we work. We started paying as much attention to how a room looked as to how it sounded, and we held our own production to the same level.

It became a real collaboration, and it made us better. To this day, we are grateful for everything we learned working with the Elyx family. Their standard of excellence raised ours, and it is the one we bring to every event we run today.
